Exchange Resource Manager
Calendaring
The Exchange Resource Manager provides user friendly web access to Exchange Calendaring resources. This enables the following core functionality:
- Resource administrators can easily create new resources – such as meeting rooms, company cars, etc.
- Resource administrators can associate resources with previously defined resource categories, in order to allow category based searches (i.e. search all company cards)
- End users can easily search and book resources which have been created and categorized by the resource administrators
- Resource searches are very powerful, allowing the end users to specify meshed search criteria (i.e. search for meeting rooms in the Geneva area with a capacity for at least 10 persons and equipped with a beamer).
“Out of the Office” Management
The Exchange Resource manager may also be used for a web based management of “Out of the Office” information. This enables selected persons – such as department secretaries – to centrally manage the “Out of the Office” messages of their buddies.
